Denton Hall

Denton Hall, set in the historic spa town of Ilkley, is a Grade 1 listed Georgian country house and is home to some of the finest examples of 18th century décor. Surrounded by 2,500 acres of secluded landscaped grounds, this wedding venue will ensure you have a private and romantic day. There is a working farm on site, along with natural woodlands, manicured lawns and two lakes which act as perfect, backdrops to wedding photography.

The original estate dates back to 1253! However, it was burned down in 1734 and rebuilt by Henry Ibbetson, only to be destroyed by fire again in 1743. It was Sir John Ibbetson who commissioned John Carr, of York to create the Denton Hall we now know. The Hall includes many charming features including a spiral staircase, hand-crafted genuine vintage Mouseman oak furniture, Adam style fireplaces and ceilings and crystal chandeliers.
